Description
VIATEQ is hiring a Security Engineer to support enterprise cybersecurity operations and IT administrative and operational support services for a federal government client. The role designs, implements, administers, and continuously improves security architectures and controls across on-premises, cloud, hybrid, endpoint, network, application, and identity environments; manages vulnerability programs, SIEM monitoring, incident response, ATO and continuous monitoring activities, security automation, and compliance reporting. The position is primarily based at the client site in Washington, DC, with approved remote or telework locations, and requires an active security clearance or the ability to obtain and maintain one, along with at least five years of relevant federal IT security experience.
