Description
Yugabyte is hiring a Security Engineer to run and improve security engineering and security operations capabilities for its cloud-native database infrastructure. The role covers vulnerability management, detection and monitoring, security tooling, platform and image hardening, compliance controls, automation, playbooks, backup automation, and AI-assisted security workflows, with close collaboration across engineering, infrastructure, and compliance teams. Candidates should have a BS or MS degree, 5–8 years of security experience, strong BASH and Python automation skills, familiarity with modern SaaS infrastructure and major security protocols, and a strong desire to learn new technologies.
