Description
Yugabyte is hiring a Security Engineer to run and improve security engineering and security operations capabilities for its cloud database infrastructure. The role covers security monitoring and detection, vulnerability management, security tooling, platform and image hardening, compliance controls, automation, playbooks, backup automation, and AI-assisted security workflows. It requires a BS/MS degree, 8–11 years of security-domain experience, strong BASH and Python automation skills, familiarity with modern SaaS infrastructure and major security protocols, and collaboration across engineering, infrastructure, and compliance functions.
