Amazon is hiring a Security Engineer to partner with application development teams and secure applications, infrastructure, and data across Finance & Global Business Services, Communications and Corporate Responsibility, People eXperience, and Technology. The role covers threat modeling, secure code reviews in Java, Python, and JavaScript, security architecture guidance, vulnerability remediation, security tooling and automation, compliance support, security training, and complex security problem solving. Candidates need at least four years of relevant security, software development, scripting, or related experience, along with cross-team security solution experience and cloud-service knowledge. The position is based in Boston, Massachusetts, or Seattle, Washington, with an annual base salary of $159,300 to $202,400 USD.
