Notion is hiring a hands-on Detection Engineer to build and operate detection and response systems across cloud, identity, endpoint, and SaaS environments. The role involves creating high-signal detections, improving detection platforms, developing automation and LLM-based workflows, translating threat intelligence into actionable detections, participating in incident response and investigations, and tracking detection metrics. The position requires at least three years of relevant security or software engineering experience, production detection experience, knowledge of a detection or query language, and hands-on experience with major cloud platforms and security tools. The estimated base salary is €75,000–€142,000 per year, and the role is onsite.
