Description
Amazon Healthcare Security is hiring a Security Engineer II to design, build, and operate detection and monitoring capabilities for Amazon Health Services across cloud infrastructure, applications, endpoints, identity systems, and AI-powered architectures. The role focuses on detection-as-code pipelines, automated investigation and response workflows, AI/LLM-powered security tooling, alert triage, incident response, observability, and security documentation. Candidates need at least five years of security-related professional experience, a STEM bachelor's degree or two years of IT security experience, cloud and threat-modeling experience, and experience with log aggregation or endpoint detection tools. The position is based in Seattle, Washington, with a base salary of 159,300 to 202,400 USD annually.
