Amazon Security is hiring a Security Engineer II for its Vulnerability Management and Remediation Operations team. The role analyzes public and private vulnerability disclosures and exploit code, assesses and triages vulnerabilities across Amazon’s infrastructure, services, and applications, supports remediation efforts, and engineers scalable vulnerability detection mechanisms and automation workflows. The position requires programming experience, security code review, networking and vulnerability knowledge, and participation in periodic on-call responsibilities. It is based in Seattle, Washington, and offers a base salary of 159,300 to 202,400 USD annually, with health, dental, vision, and other benefits.
