Flywire is hiring a Security Engineer II on the Active Operational Defender track to support penetration testing, red teaming, threat detection, SIEM operations, incident response, and forensics in a high-velocity fintech environment. The role works under senior and lead engineers, develops manual testing and detection engineering skills, and progresses toward independent responsibility. It requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, 1–3 years of relevant hands-on experience, foundational offensive and SecOps skills, scripting ability, and interest in AI security and regulatory frameworks.
