Pantheon is hiring a Security Engineer II to own application security across its cloud hosting platform. The role combines hands-on security engineering with tooling and automation, including SIEM detection rules, vulnerability management, supply chain controls, access and identity governance, cloud security, DLP, and secrets hygiene. Candidates need at least four years of overall experience, including two years in application security or security engineering, along with Python or Go, CI/CD, cloud, containerization, Terraform, Kubernetes, and security-tooling experience. The position is based in San Francisco or Chicago and offers CAD 94,000–118,000 annual salary plus bonus and equity, medical, dental, and vision insurance, and visa sponsorship is not available.
