Description
Amazon is hiring a Security Engineer to serve as the technical security lead for mergers and acquisitions integrations. The role guides newly acquired businesses from deal close through full onboarding, assesses diverse cloud, on-premises, endpoint, and identity environments, identifies and remediates security risks, supports onboarding to Amazon security services, reviews security architecture, mentors technical teams, and improves integration processes. The position requires a bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent, at least three years of relevant security or systems experience, scripting or security-code-review experience, and knowledge of networking protocols. AWS experience, M&A security integration experience, and experience across multiple security domains are preferred. The role is based in Austin, Texas, with a base salary of 159,300 to 202,400 USD annually.
