Amazon is hiring a Security Engineer for its Vulnerability Management and Remediation Campaign Management team in Austin, Texas. The role focuses on creating and launching security campaigns at scale, assessing technical impact, reducing manual remediation through automation, identifying preventative security measures, and designing tools and workflows. Candidates need a bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent, networking knowledge, threat modeling or risk identification experience, programming and security code-review experience, at least two years of programming experience, and at least five years of industry-based security vulnerability, attack-pattern, and remediation experience. AWS, cloud-hosted services, and networking troubleshooting experience are preferred. The position offers a base salary of 159,300 to 202,400 USD annually plus benefits.
