Metrea is hiring a Security Engineer to join its Australian team and manage security monitoring and detection capabilities in a classified Microsoft Azure environment. The role focuses on Microsoft Sentinel and Azure Log Analytics administration, SIEM use cases, alert tuning, threat hunting, automated response playbooks, incident investigation, data-source integration, dashboards, and security operations improvements. Candidates need at least five years of relevant cybersecurity, SIEM, detection engineering, or security operations experience, enterprise-scale SIEM experience, experience in regulated or government environments, and strong Azure, KQL, and Microsoft security technology knowledge. The position requires the ability to obtain and maintain an AGSVA security clearance and offers private health insurance and other benefits.
