ICS – Informatik Consulting Systems GmbH is hiring a Security Engineer / System Engineer to manage and implement infrastructure and security projects for demanding customer sites. The role involves coordinating with customers and partners, translating requirements into technical solutions, configuring and hardening networks, firewalls, WLAN, and Linux systems, handling incidents and changes, administering VMware virtualized environments, and supporting migrations and knowledge transfer. The position is based in Germany, with remote work possible, and requires relevant computer science or systems integration training, several years of infrastructure and security experience, VMware and Linux knowledge, and strong German and English skills.
