Description
The Navy Security Officer performs fixed-post patrols, vehicle and pedestrian traffic control, visitor screening, pass issuance, and initial response to vehicular accidents. The role requires United States citizenship, federal employment suitability, a pre-appointment physical, an interim and/or final security clearance, a drug test, and possible travel to CONUS and OCONUS sites. GS-03, GS-04, and GS-05 applicants must demonstrate the specified specialized security experience; GS-06 applicants must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band.
