Description
The Hospital Security Officer protects persons, property, and hospital operations by patrolling buildings and grounds, securing doors and windows, responding to emergencies and disorderly conduct, investigating incidents, escorting patients and visitors, inspecting parcels, and reporting safety hazards. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and at least three years of job-related experience; law enforcement or security experience, a New York State driver's license, a New York State security guard license, and Heart Saver First Aid, CPR, and AED certification are desired, while Nonviolent Crisis Intervention Certification is an additional requirement. The salary is $28.7403 per hour.
