Description
The Hospital Security Officer is responsible for protecting patients, staff, visitors, and hospital property; monitoring building systems and security equipment; conducting patrols, searches, investigations, and emergency responses; enforcing hospital and local regulations; and documenting incidents. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, a Class C driver’s license, drug testing and background checks, Level II training, and First Aid/CPR/AEC certification within 60 days. Security or law enforcement and healthcare or education experience are preferred, and the position involves frequent standing, walking, lifting, and carrying.
