Description
The Security Installation Technician reports to the Technology Director and installs low-voltage cable, pathway systems, firestop systems, and electronic components in commercial new construction and existing structures. Responsibilities include routing and terminating cabling, building cable closets, testing and troubleshooting, documenting work, scheduling jobs, communicating with clients, and maintaining safety compliance. The role requires a valid driver’s license, at least two years of security industry experience, low-voltage or network cabling knowledge, blueprint-reading ability, and an on-call rotation; some out-of-town travel is required.
