Description
The Columbus Metropolitan Library is hiring a part-time Security Officer for the Martin Luther King Branch, working 20–24 hours per week across weekday, weekend, and Sunday shifts. The role patrols library buildings and grounds, responds to safety hazards and security incidents, de-escalates disruptive behavior, enforces parking rules, supports emergency response, and documents incidents. The position pays $19.20–$20.20 per hour and requires a high school diploma or G.E.D., 1–3 years of relevant customer service or security experience or training, reliable transportation, and the ability to perform physical security duties.
