Description
The Security Officer is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of patrons, employees, and properties owned by Scioto Downs. Duties include greeting customers, verifying that customers are of legal age by checking identification, maintaining a guest-service orientation, and performing other assigned duties. The role requires excellent communication, politeness, neat appearance, reading and writing ability, rotational-shift availability, physical ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods, and the ability to push or pull up to 50 pounds. Applicants must be at least 21, obtain and maintain appropriate licensing, pass a background investigation, and pass pre-employment drug screening; a high school diploma or equivalent is required.
