Description
The Casino Security Officer is responsible for protecting employees, guests, the facility, and company assets at the casino site. Duties include controlling access, monitoring and reporting violations and hazards, enforcing restricted access, observing cashier and slot activities, conducting patrols, performing identification checks, handling property and disputes, responding to emergencies, and supporting crowd control and surveillance. The role requires a high school diploma, serving-certification, willingness to recertify for use of force, and English proficiency; occupational first aid and previous security experience are assets. The work involves long periods of standing and walking, potential danger and exposure to elements, noise, verbal or physical abuse, and non-traditional hours.
