Description
Google Public Sector is hiring a Security Operations Center Analyst to deliver, operate, and secure private cloud services for high-security public-sector customers. The role responds to escalated security incidents 24/7/365, improves SOC platform efficiencies, conducts threat hunting and purple-team events, develops dashboards, and demonstrates expertise across vulnerability, endpoint detection and response, and security information and event management. It requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, relevant cybersecurity certification, five years of SOC-related incident-response experience, programming and troubleshooting experience, and a Developed Vetting UK security clearance. The position is on-site at a satellite site in Hampshire with occasional travel to London.
