Description
Giacom is hiring a Security Operations (SecOps) Engineer to maintain and improve the organisation’s security posture and operational security capability. The role coordinates outsourced SOC services, triages and investigates security incidents, manages EDR/XDR and SIEM tooling, supports security automation, and implements security improvement initiatives. It requires hands-on cybersecurity operations or security engineering experience, incident response and threat detection knowledge, enterprise security tooling experience, and Microsoft 365 tenant security experience. The position offers hybrid working with three days per week in the Hessle or Prudhoe office and two remote days.
