Description
Microsoft is hiring a Security Operations Engineering Intern to research and respond to security incidents, automate security processes, analyze threats, support red/purple team operations, and maintain hardware, software, firewalls, encryption, and access controls. The intern will also apply knowledge of baremetal infrastructure, operating systems, cloud infrastructure, virtualized environments, scripting, and networking. Applicants must be pursuing a bachelor's degree in a relevant field and have at least one additional quarter or semester remaining after the internship. The base pay is USD 5,690–11,210 per month, with a higher range of USD 7,410–12,250 per month for specific San Francisco Bay Area and New York City metropolitan area locations.
