Interactive Brokers is hiring a Security Operator I for its Security Operations Center (SOC). The role focuses on monitoring and triaging security alerts, supporting incident response, analyzing logs and indicators of compromise, investigating phishing and malware, documenting incidents, and participating in 24x7 rotating SOC shifts. Candidates should have a bachelor's degree in IT or cybersecurity, 2–5 years of SOC or cybersecurity experience, foundational knowledge of cybersecurity, TCP/IP, Linux, and Windows, and familiarity with SIEM, EDR, email security, firewalls, IDS/IPS, OWASP, and incident playbooks. The role is hybrid with three office days per week and includes medical and life insurance, among other benefits.
