Description
Google Public Sector is hiring a Security Platform Engineer to design, build, and manage cloud-native security platforms focused on Kubernetes-based environments. The role covers deploying and operating SIEM, IDS/IPS, and CWPP tools; developing monitoring and logging strategies; investigating and remediating security incidents; performing forensic analysis; and automating security workflows. The position requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, five years of security, DevSecOps, or platform engineering experience, relevant scripting and Kubernetes expertise, infrastructure-as-code experience, and a Developed Vetting UK security clearance. It is an on-site role in Wiltshire or London, with a standard five-day-per-week schedule and a rotating on-call schedule.
