Description

AWS is hiring a Security Systems Project Manager to lead the design, installation, integration, testing, commissioning, maintenance, upgrades, and lifecycle management of physical security systems for AWS data centers and co-locations. The role manages multi-million-dollar projects, vendors, contractors, budgets, compliance, change orders, and stakeholder requirements while advising leadership on emerging security technologies. Candidates need extensive cross-functional project and security-systems experience, a relevant engineering degree, and strong knowledge of access control, intrusion detection, and CCTV systems.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Communications Engineering or a related field
Required Previous Experiences: 5+ years of cross-functional experience with technology and non-technology teams
5+ years defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics
10+ years of construction or project management experience, or 4+ years of electrical or mechanical engineering experience
10-12 years managing projects, operations, installation, and maintenance of regional or global physical security systems
Preferred Qualifications: 5+ years driving end-to-end delivery and communicating results to senior leadership
3+ years driving process improvements
Experience managing multiple stakeholders at varied organizational levels
PMP, Prince2, PgMP, SAFe, or SCRUM/Agile certification
Experience managing contract security and physical security operation programs, including access control, intrusion detection, and CCTV surveillance
Certification in Lenel S2 or an equivalent security system platform
