Vattenfall is hiring a Security Protection Manager for the Forsmark Power Group to lead and develop security protection activities for a critical energy infrastructure operation. The role manages the unit manager and department staff, reports to the Managing Director, coordinates with authorities and stakeholders, protects sensitive information, trains employees, and supports strategic security and operational development. It requires several years of experience leading security and emergency preparedness activities, relevant academic or security-management qualifications, knowledge of Swedish security and cybersecurity legislation, strong leadership and collaboration skills, and Swedish and English proficiency. The position is based in Forsmark, with possible remote work from Gävle, Uppsala, or home, and an application deadline of 31 October 2026.
