NVIDIA is hiring a Security Research Engineer to validate and patch software vulnerabilities affecting internal targets. The role develops methods for confirming vulnerabilities, generating safe fixes, establishing correctness and regression standards, and applying rigorous security judgment to well-defined vulnerability classes. The engineer will work with harness and evaluation engineers, document reasoning for independent security reviews, and maintain disciplined skepticism about AI-assisted analysis. The posting requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and 12+ years in security research or software engineering, along with hands-on vulnerability research, fuzzing, program analysis, or secure development in C, C++, or Python. The base salary range is 224,000 USD to 356,500 USD for Level 5 and 272,000 USD to 431,250 USD for Level 6, with equity and benefits.
