Description
The Security Shift Lead serves as the on-duty operational leader for an assigned shift at San Antonio Zoo, supervising Security Officers and Dispatch personnel, directing security operations, coordinating emergency responses, maintaining operational readiness, mentoring staff, and ensuring compliance with policies and documentation requirements. The role requires at least three years of progressively responsible security, military, law enforcement, or related experience, including leadership or supervisory experience, a high school diploma or GED, Texas DPS Level II security registration, a valid Class C Texas driver’s license, and availability for weekends, holidays, and overnight or swing shifts.
