Security Shift Supervisor at Westhab

Westhab is hiring a Shift Supervisor for its 200+ bed women’s homeless shelter in College Point, Queens. Reporting to the Security Manager, the role supervises security, residential aides, drivers, and kitchen staff; monitors access control and security systems; responds to incidents and emergencies; conducts facility rounds, inspections, and fire drills; maintains incident and security reports; and provides crisis intervention and client and staff safety support. The position pays $24 per hour and requires an associate degree or equivalent experience, a New York State Security Guard License, a Fire Guard License, Nonviolent Crisis Intervention certification, knowledge of security and fire systems, shelter and CARES/DHS protocol knowledge, and availability for flexible shifts.
