SpaceX is hiring a Security Software Engineer for Starlink to design, build, and maintain security infrastructure and features across satellite, router, dish, gateway, factory, and terrestrial systems. The role focuses on cryptographic services, operating system and network security, secure boot, vulnerability research, incident response, and security improvements for large-scale distributed systems. Candidates need a bachelor's degree in computer science or another STEM field, or equivalent security software development experience, plus software development experience in Python, C++, or Golang and experience implementing security solutions for operating systems, distributed systems, or enterprise-scale infrastructure.
