Description
The Security Specialist - Armed is a full-time, 80-hour-per-pay-period campus police role at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, Ohio. The position involves protecting persons and property, investigating criminal offenses on facility property, enforcing facility rules and regulations, and working day or night shifts including weekends and holidays. A high school diploma or GED, 200 hours of Ohio-accredited police training, OPOTA Basic Security Guard Training, 20 hours of firearms training, a valid Ohio driver’s license, and some typing and computer experience are required; prior security or law enforcement experience is preferred.
