Description
The Security Specialist - Armed is a full-time campus police security role at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, Ohio. The position protects persons and property, investigates criminal offenses on facility property, enforces facility rules and regulations, and requires 12-hour day or night shifts including weekends and holidays. A high school diploma or GED, 200 hours of Ohio-accredited police training, OPOTA Basic Security Guard Training, 20 hours of firearms training, a valid Ohio driver’s license, and some typing and computer experience are required; prior security or law enforcement experience is preferred.
