The MAJCOM Senior Government Special Security Officer serves as the Government Special Security Officer for Special Access Program activities across the major command, overseeing Department of Defense and Air Force security programs. Responsibilities include SAP security inspections, senior-level briefings, security oversight, and management of Top Secret Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities and specialized security networks. The role requires U.S. citizenship, at least one year of specialized security experience, appropriate security clearance, and completion of required DoD security certifications within two years.
