Description
Telesat is hiring a Security System Architect to lead cybersecurity integration across satellite, ground, network, and cloud-based systems. Reporting to the Senior Director, System Architecture and Release Train, the role will embed security into system architectures and product designs, lead threat modeling and risk assessments, evaluate vulnerabilities and security controls, support DevSecOps and automated security tooling, and collaborate with engineering, cybersecurity, operations, and external stakeholders. The position requires a bachelor's degree in a relevant field, 10+ years of cybersecurity, system architecture, product development, product security, or embedded systems security experience, and the ability to work in Canada and obtain Canadian Controlled Goods Program clearance.
