Description
Pref-Tech is hiring a full-time Security Technician 2 for an oil and gas facility in Corpus Christi. The role installs, configures, tests, and troubleshoots access control, CCTV, intrusion, intercom, video management, cabling, and network systems; documents work; mentors junior technicians; and collaborates with project teams. Candidates need a high school diploma or equivalent, at least two years of relevant security or access-control experience, a valid Texas driver’s license, electrical and network knowledge, and the ability to perform physically demanding field work. The position requires day and night work, 10–20% travel, and includes health, dental, retirement, incentive, and training benefits.
