Description
The Security Technician installs, maintains, repairs, modifies, and tests access control, CCTV, alarm, data, and low-voltage security systems. The role includes wiring, mounting equipment, troubleshooting hardware and basic network issues, maintaining inventory and vehicles, completing installation paperwork, and working an on-call rotation. Applicants need a high school diploma or equivalent, at least two years of experience with cable, phone, internet, or smart-home systems, at least one year of security-system installation experience, relevant alarm-system certification, tool proficiency, a valid driver’s license, and comfort working at heights.
