Description
NXP is hiring a semiconductor equipment technician to perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance in the Chandler Fab CVD equipment area. The role maintains CVD semiconductor toolsets, including AMAT, Novellus, Watkins Johnson, Rigaku, and Edwards Abatement equipment; troubleshoots electrical, electronic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems; performs scheduled maintenance and consumable changes; diagnoses alarms and operational data; applies SPC, 5S, FDC, and root-cause problem-solving; follows hazardous-chemical safety protocols; documents work and trains others. The position works compressed shifts with night-shift availability in a high-volume manufacturing environment and requires the physical ability to stand for up to 12 hours and lift up to 50 pounds.
