Description
Intel is hiring a Semiconductor Manufacturing Engineer to support and improve manufacturing operations at its fabrication facilities in Penang, Malaysia. The role analyzes and sustains manufacturing processes, supports new product introduction, monitors equipment performance, applies data-driven methods to optimize factory operations, and collaborates with operations, engineering, automation, supply chain, and other stakeholders. The position requires a relevant bachelor's degree with 1–2 years of semiconductor manufacturing experience or a relevant master's degree with no prior professional experience, along with knowledge of manufacturing processes, data analysis, automation systems, and manufacturing equipment. It is an experienced-hire, on-site role in Shift 1.
