Description
The SEND Officer will manage a caseload of Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) or high-needs SEND support plans, including those undergoing statutory assessments. The role also lines manages Bridge provision and ELSA assistants and contributes to staff professional development. Candidates need strong SEND and safeguarding knowledge, experience working with SEND students, the ability to develop strategies and interventions, effective communication, and strong parent and community relationships. The position is full-time at 37 hours per week for 40 weeks per year, with standard working hours of 8:00 am to 4:00 pm daily and 3:30 pm on Fridays.
