SMU is hiring a Senior Academic Technology Services Director to serve as the principal academic-technology advisor and strategic partner to academic leadership at the Perkins School of Theology and the Dedman School of Law. The role leads multi-year technology strategy, AI integration, online and hybrid program architecture, Canvas and instructional-technology oversight, research and scholarly-technology consultation, faculty development, change management, executive communication, technology governance, and coordination of cross-functional initiatives. It is an on-campus, in-person position with no regular direct reports, requires a master's degree and six years of progressive higher-education experience or a bachelor's degree and eight years, and offers health, dental, vision, retirement, wellness, and tuition benefits.
