Description
Bankjoy is hiring a Senior Accountant to own day-to-day accounting operations for a US-headquartered fintech with a Canadian entity. Reporting to the COO, the role is a sole-contributor responsible for revenue billing, accounts receivable and payable, US multi-state sales tax, month-end close across multiple entities, external audit support, and process documentation. The position requires at least five years of progressive accounting experience, including full ownership of a month-end close and US multi-state sales tax, along with knowledge of Avalara, ASC 606, QuickBooks Online, Bill.com, and a billing platform. The salary range is $115,000–$135,000 CAD, with medical, dental, and vision coverage and a remote-first culture.
