Description
The Reinsurance Accountant will prepare, disburse, and settle monthly and quarterly reinsurance accounts, reconcile receivable and payable discrepancies, review premium and loss sub-ledgers, resolve reinsurer statement and system issues, and prepare ceded reinsurance financial reports. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business, three to five years of reinsurance accounting experience, strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
