Senior Actuarial Technical Analyst at Intact

Intact is seeking a Senior Actuarial Technical Analyst to join their CDAT team. This role involves owning and developing recurrent reports, analyzing KPIs, supporting ad-hoc data requests, recommending improvements, contributing to team efforts, and potentially participating in new database design. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, programming languages like SAS, Python, VBA, or SQL, and experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: Experience in creating, modifying, and producing reports using Excel, Power BI, and other tools.
Ability to analyze and synthesize report KPIs and provide commentary to business users.
Experience supporting ad hoc data/report creation and investigations of production issues.
Ability to recommend and implement improvements.
Proactive contributor to team's work.
Ability to coach staff and serve as a reference.
Knowledge sharing and willingness to train others.
Potential involvement in designing and establishing new database environments.
Preferred Qualifications: Strong analytical skills for problem-solving.

Knowledge of the insurance industry.
Bilingualism is required for interaction with English-speaking colleagues.
