Axcelis Technologies is hiring a Senior Advanced Control & Automation Engineer for semiconductor equipment to design, develop, integrate, test, and support industrial automation and advanced control systems for wafer handling and process equipment. The role focuses on PLC-based automation, MATLAB modeling and analysis, EtherCAT network integration, FPGA-based controls, and advanced control methods such as model-based control, ANN, and ML, working across cross-functional engineering teams in a cleanroom and requiring occasional domestic and international travel.
