Description
The employer is seeking a Senior/Advanced Java Developer to support a newly established Omnichannel Payment Platform and Point-of-Sale team. The role involves designing and maintaining Java and Spring Boot backend services, integrating the POS platform with the OPP, developing API Gateway and enterprise integrations, troubleshooting payment-processing and POS-to-backend issues, testing with physical POS terminals, developing secure and highly available services, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. The position requires at least seven years of senior-level Java development experience, strong POS and PCI-scoped environment experience, and onsite collaboration; SQL is not required, while Kafka, event-driven architecture, CI/CD, cloud, and containers are preferred.
