Description

Resideo is seeking a Senior Advanced Reliability Engineer to manage and optimize their cloud infrastructure. The role involves building and maintaining an infrastructure-as-code environment, automating IT operations, and monitoring system health to ensure minimal downtime during transformations. The engineer will contribute to driving DevOps practices and supporting troubleshooting efforts.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: 3+ years of experience with public cloud platforms (Azure preferred), including deployment and management of scalable services.
5+ years of experience administering Windows and/or Linux environments in enterprise settings.
Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (Terraform preferred or equivalent) for provisioning and automation (2+ years).
Strong expertise in observability and monitoring tools (e.g., Elastic, Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog, Dynatrace) to ensure system performance and reliability.
Proven experience managing distributed, high-availability systems across multiple regions, including containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes), with strong English communication skills (written and verbal).
Preferred Qualifications: Professional-level Public Cloud (Azure or AWS) Certifications
Comfort with both Linux and Windows administration
Background with scripting technologies: PowerShell or Bash or Python
Knowledge of monitoring and logging systems (e.g. ELK stack, Grafana, Icinga2 or similar)
