Inversion is hiring a Senior Aerodynamics Engineer to develop and maintain aerodynamic force and moment databases for reentry vehicles across the full flight envelope. The role combines high-fidelity CFD, lower-order aerodynamic methods, wind-tunnel and flight-test data, uncertainty definition, and automation to support GNC, simulation, and mission design. It is an on-site position at Inversion headquarters in Playa Vista, California, requiring eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. government Secret/Top Secret clearance and compliance with ITAR requirements.
