Description

Blue Origin is hiring an experienced aerospace structural analysis engineer to lead advanced structural analysis for New Glenn’s second stage and related aerospace components and systems. The role uses hand calculations, finite element analysis (FEA/FEM), and FEMAP to develop and validate structural models, evaluate loads and dynamic responses, optimize structures for weight, strength, and durability, and support design, manufacturing, testing, and operations. The position also leads project teams, manages milestones, reviews technical work, produces engineering reports, and mentors junior analysts and engineers. A bachelor’s degree in mechanical, aerospace, structural engineering, or a related field plus 10 or more years of relevant structural-analysis experience is required; an engineering master’s degree, launch-vehicle requirements knowledge, structural testing, instrumentation, and loads-development experience are preferred.
