Description

Blue Origin is hiring a senior aerospace structural analyst/engineer to support the development, production, testing, sustainment, and mission operations of New Glenn’s second stage. The role performs hand calculations and finite element analyses of metallic and composite aerospace structures, evaluates loads, stability, damage and non-conformances, documents stress analyses, supports testing and production, reviews other analysts’ work, and develops analysis automation tools. It requires a bachelor’s degree in aerospace or mechanical engineering, 8+ years of aircraft, spacecraft, or launch-vehicle structures experience, expertise with structural analysis methods and FEM tools, scripting, and strong communication skills.
